AMSF: Letters from Recipients
For over 30 years, AMSF has worked to provide the people of Angola with technical training as well as primary, secondary and higher education. AMSF has given scholarships to over 300 Angolans who have consequently been able to complete their education, obtain jobs in fields that interest them and use their education to assist their country in recovering from years of war. Since 1971, AMSF has assisted over 300 students in gaining training in secondary and university education.
Here are a sampling of letters that scholarship recipients have sent to AMSF:
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I would like to start by expressing my gratitude and appreciation for the amazing work you have done towards helping Angolan refugees in Africa and particularly here in Namibia. You are ambassadors of Christ who came to alleviate us from so many worries.
I came to Namibia in 1997 as a refugee, and have lived as one until now. At a time when we experienced difficulites and our parents had very little to support us, you came as a solution to that. Over the past years we have experienced God's love and protection in such a way that we just know He will always be there for us, no matter what the cicumstances are. This is how He started providing us with sponsorships from the UNHCR, and with your help and support, we could afford to buy whatever books and stationary we needed. I want you all to know that even though we haven't met you in person, we have you as parents and feel so much close to you due to the love in Christ that we share.
May God almighty bless the work of your hands. I would like to make use of this opportunity to share with you the passage found in 2 Corinthians 9:12-15. Please read it, and be blessed.
Yours in Christ,
I would like to applaud your organization for it's successful ability to raise funds to support an ongoing fund working to provide financial study aid to people like myself.
With the financial aid from your organisation I could afford to buy schoolbooks and other study aids for the later part of my high school. I finished high school and enrolled with a local college, where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Marketing Management.
I am proud of these accomplishments. As children of Angolan parents born in Manibia, we collectively seized the opportunity to rally together and truly make a difference within our communities.
Your financial support did an coutstanding job of making a difference in the lives of many of our own, our neighbours, and tohers around the world I believe. Thank you for your extraordinary efforts and continued support of the Angolan Memorial Fund.
The need continues to be greater than ever as Angola continues to re-build and reconstruct.
Thank you once again!
Dear Missionary Oranisation,
First of all I would like to greet you in the wonderful name of the Lord.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to your organization for the financial assistance rendered to me over the years. Your organization made it easier for our parents to help pay for school fees and buy the necessary stationers.
I would like to encourage your organization to keep up with the wonderful work and I pray to god that your organization will keep on assisting us in furthering our studies and other students for the years to come.
May God Bless.

To whom it may concern,
This note serves to sincerely thank the missionary organization for financial assistance towards my studies through high school and I'm currently in my final year.
I am forever grateful to your organization for your financial assistance, which subsidized my parents in a way, because I could buy school stationers and books, while my parents paid school fees.
Once again, thank you for your great effort and keep the good work.
May God Bless.
